London’s ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower has just been completed. It was being built for the 2012 London Olympics — not unlike Paris’ Eiffel Tower, which was built for a World’s Fair.
By the way, this thing is nearly twice as tall as the Eiffel Tower and a couple hundred feet higher than the Statue of Liberty. So, good luck with having this in the future London. [via IHC]
